Parent partnership is our priority. We aim to have a highly motivated team of staff who are able to feed back daily reports to you about your child. With children under  2 ½ years staff will have a daily report sheets to show how your child’s day has been , including, how s/he has eaten, slept and what sort of activities they have been doing throughout the day.
With children aged 2 ½ and above staff will keep daily observations on the children. These books are available for your viewing at any time. The details from the observations will be used as evidence to track your child’s progress and also to plan individual targets for each child. Children’s observations will also be used by staff to inform planning.
Staff will be happy to listen to how your child is progressing at home and will help you to understand how they develop and what steps you need to be taking to help them achieve their learning goals. Each month you will receive a copy of your child’s monthly targets with a parents observation form which will be sent home for you to read and add any comments to.
Each year we will have a Parent’s evenings where you will be invited to come in and have a meeting with your child’s key worker and a parent talk on a topic of interest. If at any other time you wish to discuss your child’s progress this can be done by speaking to your child’s key worker who will arrange a suitable time for you both.
The management team operate an open door policy and are always available to have a chat about how your day has been and any concerns you may have.
